Q: Are there any periods which you are not accepting students?
A: We are not accepting visiting medical students during period 5 in our ANS 850 and ANS 853 courses due to an increase in other duties (i.e. interviews for residency candidates). We are not accepting visiting medical students in any courses during period 7 as we host an Advanced Clinical Pharmacology and Anesthesiology course for all fourth year University of Kentucky College of Medicine students.
Q: Where can I find information on housing during my rotation?
A: Students are responsible for their own lodging, meals, and transportation while in Lexington. Temporary housing is available both on and off campus. The Visiting Medical Student Coordinator for the College of Medicine maintains a listing of housing options. Renee Seidel can be contacted at
