The Fourth-Year Visiting Student Program offers eligible medical students at other universities an opportunity to complete clinical clerkships in the Department of Anesthesiology.
To be eligible to participate in our program you must:
- Be a fourth-year medical student in good standing at the time of your rotation.
- Be enrolled in a school that is accredited by the United States Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME) or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA).
- Be current on all of your immunizations, including measles, mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Hepatitis and Tuberculosis.
- You may do no more than three visiting rotations at the University of Kentucky.
- All rotations are four weeks long. There are no exceptions.

- ANS 850 (Clinical Clerkship in Anesthesiology): Currently Full
- ANS 851 (Intensive Care Unit): Periods 1, 5
- ANS 853 (Clerkship in Pain Management): Periods 1,3,4, 6,7
