The principle site for fellowship training is the Interventional Pain Clinic at the University of Kentucky Good Samaritan Hospital.    The Interventional Pain Clinic is a multidisciplinary pain management center with emphasis on interventional pain management approaches.  An average of 2800 clinic visits and 1500 procedures are performed annually.  Training is also conducted at the main UK Chandler Hospital which is located approximately one mile from The Good Samaritan Hospital.  Acute pain as well as perioperative anesthesia is taught at the main UK hospital.  Palliative medicine training is conducted at the main UK Chandler Hospital as well as Hospice of the Bluegrass.
